Sully Community Center is a 38,000 SF, one-story building in Chantilly, Virginia. The center includes a double gymnasium, three large multi-purpose rooms, an exercise room, game room, arts and crafts room, a commercial kitchen, and office space. It also includes a 3,000 SF health and wellness clinic to address the needs of underserved residents in Fairfax County. Parking for 180 cars is included on site, in addition to a community garden and advanced stormwater management features.
The project certified LEED Gold. Sully Community Center features a large solar array on the standing metal sloped roofs and the gym roof that generates 66% of the electricity required by the facility.
