RRMM prepared a space needs analysis as well as design options for the renovation and addition of the existing 30,000 SF McLean Community Center. The 14,000 SF expansion created meeting rooms, activity rooms, a large multi-purpose/event room, and common space. This project also included the replacement of the MEP systems and finishes.
This project created an additional wing for the community center, which borders a newly added courtyard. The courtyard will be used for events such as craft and antique shows, as well as for students to paint and sketch outdoors. The courtyard-borded wing allows visitors in the main lobby to look through the courtyard and a glass-walled meeting room.
