The Position 

RRMM Architects is currently seeking a full-time Construction Administrator to manage the construction administration of multiple projects in the central Virginia region varying in scale and building type. Candidates having high levels of relevant experience with an A/E firm will be given preference with architectural license, Adobe suite/Newforma experience, and team player attitude as notable add-ons.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Periodic on-site construction observations.
  • Attendance/management of OAC meetings.
  • Review, processing and tracking of Submittals, RFI’s, Change Orders, Pay Applications, etc.
  • Cooperation and collaboration with Design/Construction/Owner’s Team.
  • Ability to drive to/from sites, walk, climb ladders and physically perform the duties noted.
  • Will need to know/learn Newforma.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel as a minimum. Experience with Newforma and other project management software a plus. Proficiency on a computer required.
  • Licensure as an architect or engineer, cost estimating, CPM scheduling and notable experience in construction administration will add value.
  • We are looking for a team player who finds creative ways to work through problems and has a clear understanding of common goals of the full team.
  • Salary is commensurate with experience.
