Location: NAS Oceana, Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, VA
This design-build project with WM Jordan provided four facilities in support of the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) at Dam Neck Naval Base:
- P-899, a two-story, 322,916 GSF, high-priority mission operations facility (designed with an associated architect). LEED Gold Certified.
- P-789, a two-story, 42,296 GSF, administrative and amphibious operations training facility. LEED Gold Certified.
- Building 310, a one-story, 5,129 GSF, addition to a medical treatment and therapy building. The addition included design of an exercise room, training pool and therapy pool, locker room and office space.
- Building 368, a one-story, 4,433 GSF, addition to the second floor of an administrative building. This entire building is a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
The project also included construction and modifications of roadways, drives, and parking lots, the construction of a vehicle/pedestrian bridge, site utilities, fencing, sidewalks, site lighting, signage, and landscaping.
