Congratulations to our marketing extraordinaire, Danielle Ruble, on receiving the SMPS Virginia Rising Star Award at the annual statewide conference today!

The Rising Star Award is presented to a member who is new to the chapter, has demonstrated great potential as a consummate Architecture/Engineering/Construction marketer, and has shown an aptitude for leadership through involvement in and contributions to the chapter. Danielle joined the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in 2018 and attended her first conference that summer in San Diego. She joined the conference committee to assist with the planning of the statewide conference and was responsible for brainstorming and designing collateral to be used at the conference as well as on social media.
At RRMM, we’ve known Danielle to be a star for some time now, a Rock Star! Danielle started at RRMM shortly after graduating from James Madison University in 2016. She began her career as a Marketing/Graphics Assistant and was then promoted to Marketing Coordinator in 2017. During the almost 3 years that she has been with the firm, Danielle has helped transform the marketing department and supported the K-12 Studio.
If you were to ask any one at RRMM if she was deserving of this award, it would be a unanimous yes. Even when being pulled in multiple directions simultaneously, she will continue to smile and provide exemplary work ahead of any deadline. Not only is she reliable, smart, hardworking, creative, and all the other adjectives to describe an amazing employee, but she is also kind, thoughtful, humble, and a genuinely good person.
Chris Crouch, Director of Business Development and Marketing, stated it perfectly, “Danielle has the unique ability to make everyone around her better. Each day, I am forced to elevate my performance as a result of working with such a high caliber employee. SMPS could not have chosen a more deserving individual.”
