The Seefeldt Building, on the Woodbridge Campus of Northern Virginia Community College, houses classrooms, administrative space, offices, labs, a learning center, collaboration space, and a cafeteria. This project included a comprehensive renovation and modernization of all spaces and the replacement of all major building components, as well as upgrades to the technology infrastructure. Doors, windows, louvers and other building envelope penetrations will be replaced with energy efficient components. New windows and clerestory lighting with light monitors will be added to increase the amount of natural light to the interior of the building. This project is currently under design and scheduled for completion in 2020.
