Location: Richmond, VA
A full-facility assessment was performed at six different assisted living campuses located throughout Virginia and owned by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. The facility assessments included an intensive analysis of existing building systems, the physical conditions of the building, structure and finishes and a code review of existing conditions. Following the assessment of the existing conditions, the RRMM team created a comprehensive document that provided a descriptive narrative of the existing conditions for each facility. RRMM prioritized the repairs/needs into the three categories. Category One was for the immediate repair/replacement of any equipment or code violation that would be required to be completed within one to two years. Category Two was for repairs/replacements of any equipment or materials required within a three to five-year time frame, and Category Three was for repairs/replacements of any equipment or materials required within a five to ten-year time period. Also included in the assessments were cost estimates based on the category of need in order for the Catholic Diocese to establish an ongoing budget for facilities concerns for the next ten years.
